"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.

In Gent aan het Zuid, het is een kleine wereld. Geo informatie zoals die lat/long tags hier bij Deviant zijn inderdaad intrigerend, ik had ook zo al eens gezien wie er hier nog in de buurt zit. Interesting times.
I was impressed by your Pixel Elegance style and perhaps even more so by Simple Plan, I was looking for something minimalist. The problem with the really nicely wrought styles like yours is that there are always nasty windows apps with non-standard gui layouts and style elements and they tend to clash much more with the beautiful styles than with those that are less radical departures from the default windows styles. It's hard to put my finger on, I've settled on HmmXP for now, but I'm always on the lookout.
I suspect that at some point I will actually invest more time in it, change my icon set, change applications where possible and go for something really nice (perhaps with one of your styles) but I can't find the motivation right now.
